Re: great poem~!~
That poem is soooo on target...
and as a baby boomer I do imagine
many of us are still on recess...sigh...
I sure wish we would hear more about
the guy and his gizmo to keep the
effects of technology at bay.
I could see an immediate application
since police officers used to get
cancer a lot from those laser guns,
although hopefully they have been
improved by now to make them less
riskier.
One of my brother-in-laws was a
Doctor of Physics and he refused
to have a microwave in his house.
That was sobering enough since he
was an awfully smart guy, to keep
us from using one. I still rarely
use the one here, perhaps unplugging
it is a good idea, although, my
understanding is that it does not
matter since we are being bombarded
anyway from everywhere else. We are
caught up in an molecular spider
webbing of any number of kinds of
rays and waves and pollution we
cannot see.
About our children, one of the recent
moves which makes me feel like our
government has diminished mental
capacity is the ruling that in high
schools, sodas in vending machines all
must be low calorie and hence they
have created a delivery system, across
the nation, to deliver diet soft drinks
to our teens and it is legally mandated,
pushed through with the endorsement by
Bill Clinton. Especially in young men,
the DNA is damaged drinking products
which contain aspartame.
Thanks for sharing the poem
and the tidbit about your colleague
who has either been made famous or
done in by now...I will have to
search for more info on him and
his mystery box. I hope he made
millions of them...ggg...
Blessings,
Zoe
