The above link is a website of a family owned almond farm in California that is not too thrilled with the new laws enforced September 1st requiring all raw organic almonds to be pastuerized (killing all their enzymes and nutrients) while at the same time not requiring them to label pastuerization on the label.

Therefore, they are taking orders for TRULY raw almonds (shelled) from their farm, for those who love almonds but feel they will no longer be able to enjoy them again after the FDA destroys their nutritional value after September 1st. (All bad things in America seem to happen in September I noticed)


In the face of the upcoming California raw almond ban, we will be offering truly raw, shelled and hulled (unprocessed/unpasteurized) organic almonds.

We are taking reservations for orders to be delivered begining late October 2007.

You will receive “California farm store direct” raw organic almonds that are unsorted and ungraded and may contain very small amounts of almond chips and pieces. These raw almonds are grown at McAfee Farms and are made available through the on-farm store at Organic Pastures Dairy Company.
