30 day antibiotic plus nose ointment

Hi, I waa just diagnosed with staff. pretty upset since I have four lesions that are hurting me and require so much attention. I went to the doc and he prescribed a 30 day treatment 2x a day of SULFAMETHOXAZOLE, antibiotic. I read some artcles and it seems to be one of the only AB that can kill the bacteria-- and all bacteria in my body, I'm supposing. I was also given an ointment to put up my nose called MUPIROCIN.

I don't want to take this stuff but he was insisitent that I had to knock this bacteria out. He lanced and drained, IT DID help the pain. It was ready to go. The others were too hard, and he didn't touch them. He hopes they will reduce with the AB.

what to do? and does anybody knwo what I should expect using AB's? Tweet
