I thought the "women love me" thing was funny.

This is in fact, sad and pathetic.

If you understand the living conditions there you then become aware why the wife of his son would marry him.

As is with most poor countries, if you can “provide” for the offspring you will be much “loved” by women seeking such.

But then, decades ago when I was in the navy.

I could have gotten a “beautiful” wife from Spain, France etc.

And the day she set foot in the United States every dream she may have had would have been realized.

When I’m an ole man and widowed, I may move to Brazil....;-)
