Re: Anti-biotics read this!
Dial Soap is pretty harsh to the skin. I would suggest using something milder, like Cetaphil or even Noxema. I believe that when you strip too much natural oil from your skin, it reponds by making even more oil!!
I have had pretty good luck clearing things up with Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask. You can find it at any drugstore for about $3.50! It works great, and isn't too drying. I can't remember who suggested it on this board, but I have been SO grateful. I'm also using Neutrogena's Clear Pore Clenaser Mask with some success.
I admit that I am having much worse problems since starting my
Bowel Cleanse in November. I am breaking out every day instead of a couple weeks a month. But, I am told to stick with it, so I'm trying my best to find things that make it tolerable.
Also, try tea tree oil for tha active zits. It is a good antibacterial and is pretty gentle. Just be sure to use a very small amount, and dilute it with a light moisturizer or jojaba oil so it doesn't burn. I don't have any problems using it straight out of the bottle, but some people do.
Good Luck!
