You might have a staph infection.

I really, truly feel your pain and I have been there. I've had eczema off and on my whole life, and for the most part I keep it well controlled. But there were two times I've really had a hard time getting a handle on it, where it would become crusty and refused to go away but spread, it turned out that I had staph infection.
