End of day 11

Last night pretty much all at once I started to have phantom pains in almost all of the areas of my body where I have had trauma or illness (that would be a lot), my kidneys also were hurting me and I had a massive migraine. I put a heating pad on the area around the kidneys which helped a little and an ice pack on my head. Luckily, I was tired enough to go to sleep and when I woke up in the morning the pains were gone but I was still really stiff in the shoulder area (a spot where I've had issues in the past). I would have done an enema but just didn't feel up to it, so I did a Salt Water Flush even though I think it's kind of harsh for someone doing water fasting. I have tolerated them well in the past when doing the Master-Cleanse and juice cleansing, but this time I could not keep all of the salt water down. Needless to say, I still had great results and was glad that I did it, but still wouldn't do it on a regular basis while water fasting.

At this point, I feel I want to do 21 days, unless something happens that makes me want to quit before that. I will then transition to homemade veggie broth for a couple of days and then diluted Watermelon juice.

I have also lost about 20lbs and I am happy that my BMI is no longer in the obese zone--that was really killing me. I'm still about 20lbs away before my BMI is in the healthy zone, but that seems really doable to me, particularly since I had gotten into a good routine of working out for about a month before the fast.

I have read that most muscle loss happens in the first few days and then the body will spare muscle for the most part and that usually only about a pound of muscle is lost on a moderately extended fast. I am happy to report that the newly developed muscle tone I developed before the fast still seems their and actually my shoulders and arms feel the same way they did before I started. This is good news.

Anyway, that's all for now.
