one thing that even makes it funnier is that mexicans do not have a history of using abbreviations like we do, because i was scolded one day by one who said...you americans and your abbreviations, you have one for everything..we don't use them.  in fact, he could not read letters to him by americans who would use abbreviations for many things and he would try to pronounce them (like the guy in this video) and he would ask me, what's pmc mean?, etc....  so, when i saw this video, i thought of that and figured it might be the same for many foreigners, too...and that is why this struck me as so hilarious!  not that they wouldn't know major brand items, but just the concept behind it, if nothing else.
