what they did to my friend was...after 1 yr of being in custody, they drummed up sex abuse charges.  i heard if they do that, they can adopt them out.  i actually had to go testify for my friend's boyfriend because he was facing like 30 yrs to life in prison.  the trial was 12 to zero in his favor, but they told me my testimony was crucial.  i knew he was innocent.  they had tried to get the mother to sign over her rights, but when she did not, they arrested the boyfriend.  what is sick is at the trial they made a 4 and 6 yr old testify.  they had done that doll thing with them and coached them.  i heard the rumors.  the 4 yr old kept changing her testimony, too, as if she was having fun telling different stories for attn.  i didn't particularly like the boyfriend, as he got my friend into drugs.  he was very charming and you wouldn't know it to look at him, but he was into them.  still, drugs are one thing, child molestation and going away for life is yet another and i had to do the right thing and say what i witnessed.  i lost respect for CSD at that point.  there was a rumor going around that they drum up sex charges after a yr to gain custody permanently.
