Dry face skin...

I had a slight Acne problem, mostly just red blemishes on my face. So I bought a product called Glycolic Cleanser and it really cleared up my face in only a couple days but now my face is shedding like a snake and i don't know if it's normal or not. Is there anything I can do about the dry skin or should i just keep using the product and let it take it's course? Any suggestions would be appreciated much.
