Individuals who are enduring domestic violence/abuse are definitely more likely to experience chronic illnesses and unexplained injuries that are not related to the abuser! I spent nearly 15 years in a state of absolute toxicity and my body had to manifest the negativity in some manner, so it chose injuries and chronic illnesses.

With physical abuse, at least there are the visible marks that attest to what the abused is enduring. With emotional abuse, there are no visible scars, but the damage lasts far longer.
