I had something very similar to what you are describing and it was indeed adrenal failure! I take Drenamine 3 tabs x 2 (breakfast and dinner) In my case, my adrenals shut down liver function when in turn prevented my small intesting from absorbing iron. ALSO my T3's were spinning backward! Yes, backwards! Once I got the adrenals under control with St andard Process Thymus PMG, I continued taking Drenamine and my ND said I need to continue with it for a year or so. You may want to consider taking Zypan for an awesome digestive enzyme to help your overloaded system breakdown and absorb easier.
