theories are concepts...

not all concepts are facts... yet because a certain concept hold partial truths it is accepted as truth... a real scientist should always strive to be totally open minded... much of the information he has accumulated is the very thing that holds him back... holds him prisoner... the person that does not know why some things are not suppose to work will stand a much better chance of making them work... while the person that knows why some things will not work will never spend time trying to make them work...

once you have formed a concept... whether it be your idea/belief/concept or that of someone else... your mind is then closed to any other ideas/beliefs on the subject... it is the way the mind works... we store information in such a way that once we have accepted something as truth it is neatly store away not to ever be examined again... and that is the danger of concepts... they become walls that we are unable to get around... in this respect our minds are poisoned... corrupted by education/religion... other peoples ideas/beliefs...

i recall a particular scripture in the bible that says (something to the affect)...
"test all things... and hold fast to that which is good"...

we come into this world with a mind that is like a sponge... ready and eager to absorb everything... but once a sponge has been filled with oil/contaminated... it is very difficult to ever make it clean again... so... how can you know how much you do not know... when you have been taught to believe that you know everything...??? (just more of the insanity we live with... and very few ever questions it)...

we should all seek to discover our own truths...
there is much we must unlearn...
which means...
"it's a wonderful day in the neighborhood"...
