Vitamin E and Vitamin K have been used traditionally for age spots.
Dry Skin
Almond and grape-seed oil are the quickest fixes for dry skin. They soak into your skin faster than creamy moisturizers. If your skin is extra dry and rough, opt for thicker oils like castor and avocado. If you're prone to breakouts, try filtered jojoba oil. Spread a thin coat of whichever oil you choose to the dry areas twice a day.
Add a bit of essential lavender oil to the bath and use a moisturizing or well-fatted soap.Make sure that you use a moisturizer after you bath or your skin will dry out even worse.
Scars and Stretch Marks
Vitamin K.Apply Vitamin K cream topically to stretch marks or other scars (this vitamin is not normally taken orally except through a physician). Depending on the severity of your stretch marks or scars, skin type and activity levels, you will see results in as little as 8-14 days to 6-8 weeks when used twice daily.Major food sources for Vitamin K include green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, green cabbage, kale, Swiss chard, turnip greens, broccoli, tomatoes, liver and lean meats and dairy products.
Lavender Essential Oil.Putting Lavender Essential Oil directly on scars will help them fade. Newer injuries will also heal faster with the application of this oil.
Coffee bean grounds, regular hand lotion.Grind coffee into a powder substance and mix it with any regular hand lotion. Rub into stretch marks for about 60 seconds and wipe off the coffee grounds with a warm moist towel.Do this about twice a day if possible. You should see noticeable results in about two weeks.
Olive Oil, Vitamin E oil.To help prevent stretch marks while you are pregnant, put olive oil and vitamin E on all areas that could be affected by stretch marks twice a day, after a shower and before going to bed.
Castor Oil, plastic wrap and a heating pad.First rub plenty of castor oil on the area where you have stretch marks. Then wrap it with plastic wrap. Place a heating pad turned on as hot as you can comfortably stand and leave on for 20 to 25 minutes. Noticeable results in as little as a week.
Peanut Butter and Crisco.Mix together two tablespoons of peanut butter and one tablespoon of Crisco. Apply to the affected area and leave for 15 minutes or longer, then wash off. Repeat two to three times per week. Diminishes old stretch marks and scars.
Preparation H.To help prevent stretch marks, apply Preparation H to all areas where you might get stretch marks during pregnancy two to three times daily throughout pregnancy.
Flaxseed oil is a great way to fade scars and stretch marks. You can buy it at any health food store. Also great for new scars, helps to heal them faster and the scar will not be as noticeable.Rub the flaxseed oil on old scars and stretch marks after you shower and once more before going to bed. On new scars, rub in a few times a day.
Virgin, unrefined hempseed oil. Use once or twice a day and you should see improvement and fading within a few weeks.
Olive Oil.Apply Olive oil (100% extra virgin) to scars and stretch marks at least twice a day. Within a week you should start to see scars and stretch marks starting to fade.
Vitamin E.Buy vitamin E in gel caps and take a needle and poke a hole in a few of them. Squeeze the liquid out and rub it on your stretch marks or scars.
Warts
Apply vitamin E oil to the surrounding skin, then crush a clove of raw garlic, place it on the wart, and cover it with an adhesive bandage. The raw garlic causes a blister to form, and the wart generally falls off within a week. Apply vitamin E oil to the area to help it heal.
Chop one raw onion in a dish, cover with salt and leave overnight. Apply the resulting juice to the warts twice a day, until warts disappear.
Cut fresh pineapple into thin slices. Apply to warts several times a day until they are gone.
Apply the milky juice exuding from the stems of figs and leaves.
Gently rub the wart with your finger for 15 seconds at the same time each day. Rubbing the wart stimulates blood flow to the area and prompts your immune system to fight the wart virus. Doing this at the same time every day trains your immune system to kick in on its own.
Apple cider vinegar. The best treatment for warts is prevention, and warts are usually a sign of potassium deficiency.Apple cider vinegar is high in potassium.
Wrinkles
Grapeseed oil is a wonderful skin and wrinkle cream. Continued use will erase and lessen wrinkles and tiny lines and leave the skin smooth and radiant.
Apply coconut oil on the portions of skin and face where wrinkles set in and gently massage every night at bedtime.
Banana is wonderful as an anti-wrinkle treatment. Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy.Spread all over face and leave for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water followed by a dash of cold. Gently pat dry.
Olive oil is also reported to work wonders on eliminating and minimizing wrinkles.
Vodka, fennel seeds and honey.Combine two tablespoons of vodka, one tablespoon of fennel seeds and one and one-half teaspoons honey.Stir well and allow to sit for three days.Strain mixture. Use a cotton ball to apply to face and neck as a toner.
