amplifying square wave sonically?

Im intriqued by the idea of utilizing the square wave technolgy
on frequencies that would effect/eliminate other critters outside of the
human body. Is this idea possible or feasible? I/m thinking sonically,
as in the exisiting units that are reported to drive away pest, rodents, ect
with a sonic frequency. But, what about amplifying the square wave?
or other than sonic frequency, how could the square wave be transmitted to
the natural world, other than the human body?Any body know any information
pertaining to this idea?
