To whiten socks, from Heloise...

Prewash socks: Put socks in a big pot on the stove top, cover with water and add a half lemon to water. Boil until whitened. Then, put through regular washerload.

Okay, now I did test this (I am the pendulum, as opposed to a crystal) and got that it is the right thing for me. Yet, this young man came to the door, about 20 minutes ago selling this cleaner. He showed me that it works and there is only butyl cellosolve in it. I did not have time to get on 'puter to find out what that is, yet he claimed it is natural. So, anyway, he cleans a smudge off the window and then a stain from the carpet. Then, he cleans the stain from the washcloth that wiped the carpet. It came out WHITE (like the cloth was). I asked him, how do I know that you are selling the same thing in the bottle. He went on with his 'speech'. At any rate, I decided I wanted to buy this, and as I mentioned I tested it for me, and when he put the product in my water (that's all you mix it with), I had him do the same thing to the washcloth again and it came out WHITE, again.

It cost a little more than I would typically spend, except that it claims to be a year supply AND it works for windows, stains, bathrooms, laundry, walls, carpets, cars and more. I figured the price wasn't bad for a year.

Again, ask and be open and the answers (teacher) will come!

Love, Light and Peace,
Beth
