Cayenne for cuts

I just wanted to report that two weeks ago a strong feral cat gouged my hand open from the palm to the tip of my finger, (yeah I'm a weird cat lady, tried to pick it up) which was basically sliced open. I packed it with cayenne only and let the blood congeal and it scabbed up by morning. Today it is healed up for the most part, no infection and no stitches needed. the finger is numb and it looks like there will be a scar, but the rest of the hand is looking good! Always keep cayenne around, folks!
