Shredding Skin

Hi I have a slight problem which I hope you can help me with. in the past few days my daughter who is eighteen months old has been losing the skin off her fingers, I ahve been to the Doctor and he has said it is an alllergic reaction to something, and has given me Aquaeous creame to rub on 4 times a day. It seemed tobe gettin gbetter but today I have noticed that is has come back not as bad but also I think her feet are shredding too.

We have two cats and a dog and I have washed everything that she touches.

Any ideas please
