Re: Question about effect of Kombucha...

Hi Prettysoulful

I've just joined CureZone and read your request about Kombucha tea that you made a while back. Did you get any satisfactory answers? I ask this because I am just recovering from the bad effects I suffered from drinking this tea earlier in the year - ie acidosis and, I believe, the bacteria Helicobacter Pylori. I think KT is good for lots of people but if your body is extra sensitive (as mine apparently is) it can cause many problems. Kombucha Tea is acidic but it apparently converts to alkaline once in the body. This didn't happen with me and I became extremely acidic and extremely ill. If you are drinking KT now, I would suggest you get some pH testing strips from your local health shop (or ask your doctor) and test both your urine and saliva. If they are very acidic then I'd lay off KT drinking and get your body more alkaline. There's loads on the net about how to do this.

I'm still looking into the the Helicobacter Pylori problem to find out if its possible to get this bacteria from drinking KT but can only discover that KT is supposed to cure it! Maybe its the alkalinity that cures it but if your body is over-acid, and the KT is remaining acid in your body, I understand that this is a condition in which H Pylori thrives! All I know is that all these problems started at the same time as starting with Kombucha Tea.

Regards

Brenda
