Re: Did a 4 Tablespoon salt water flush..very worried!
Wow, um, that’s like 6 times the amount needed if you are in fact using Tablespoons; the recipe calls for 2 TEAspoons (3 teaspoons to a tablespoon, so 6x the amount suggested).
Too much salt makes you retain water, which is probably why you looked swollen.
I can only imagine how awful you felt, but I would not panic. Drinking lots of water was the best you could have done, and you did it. I don't think you've done any permanent harm, so don't worry too much about it. Just remember, tomorrow, it's 2 TEAspoons of
Sea Salt , not Tablespoons.
So:
1) Because you used way more salt than you thought. I wouldn't worry too much about absorbing the salt; if you did, it's bound to trickle out anyway.
2) I don't think so. Don't over-worry yourself. :)
3) Yep, it's from the water and it's probably a good sign that it's clear. It's dark when you're dehydrated.
I’m glad you’re feeling better. :)
