Temperature sensitivity, pH, low body temp.

Hi, all!

I have been wrestling with this one since b4 I came to this forum. Was put on Armour thyroid a little over a year ago, with almost unnoticable improvment.

Whether I experience discomfort and a sense of being cold does not correlate directly to the exact temp in degrees or the exact pH. It DOES correlate to my system being so out of balance that a drop in pH or body temp is prolonged.

I can judge my current degree of health and progress by how fast my temp and pH will return to a healthy equalibrium rather than be pegged at low or acidic. I use this to judge what diet and activity choices my be most beneficial at any given time. Also to determine composition of my alk drink, frequency of detox baths.

Since starting the moreless protocol 5 months or so ago, I have gone from horribly cold sensitive to 70-80% recovered. It is easy for me to tell, because I live in an area with lots of cool, windy weather in summer. Remeber Mark Twain's saying that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco??? Like that.

I've actually been able to go out in the yard and sun bathe in a swimsuit in 65-70 F!!!

Until just a week or two ago, I would be wearing a sweatsuit and STILL getting chilled, not warming up for hours! Each time I left the house or got out of bed for alittle while to do anything, could only stant the cols for 1/2 to abt 3 hrs, then came the hours and hours of being bundled up with heating pads, blankets, etc. Except when the temp was abt 80-85 f. Then I did OK. If it was higher, I started having trouble again. YUK!!!

Besides the basic ML protocol, sodim/potassium balance, cutting protein consumption, avoiding NPN and using lots of kelp in small amts thru day seems to have been keys for me.

Hope this is helpful!
