Re: Keratosis Pilaris
In my case the bumps from KP went away within a few days, but I did many, many pulls in a day when I first started (like between 4-6). I just happened to feel my arms after a few days to admire how soft they felt from the oil pulling, and I realized the KP bumps were gone. So, doing the math, if I had only been doing pulls twice a day like you are doing, that would put results at about 3 weeks. Even now though, after about 2 months, it's taken this long for the red spots to start clearing, and it's slooooow for the red to go it seems. I'm not sure if the red's going because of the oil pulling, or the
Iodine supplementation I started a few weeks ago (plus the salt pulls, Vit. C, and selenium). I have noticed, if I skip oil pulling, the bumps want to come back. I do think, since the bumps were there for so long (all my life), that it will take some time for the red to totally clear, just like when you scar it will take a while for the red to go away from those.
But don't base your success on mine. We're all individuals, and our bodies will react on their own time, as they are capable.
I will forever oil pull. I love how smooth and young my skin feels. It's amazing how soft even the most heavily used and abused parts are, like fingers and palms. My facial skin is starting to look like a porcelain doll's. I love how clean my mouth and teeth feel. I've got a cold this week (it's going around town, so I know it's not detox), and despite brushing teeth or salt water have been getting dragon breath from the cold. But the oil pulling slays the dragon breath. I never get bad breath anymore if I keep up with the oil pulling. Just sooo many health benefits beyond this ...
