Thanks for yet another of many great posts, Wombat :),

I'll remember that when I eventually can plant a veggie garden again.

I love Black Radish raw and shredded in a salad, along with a pile of raw shredded Beets and Carrots.

Yum, ya got me hungry..:)

PS: An old Sweet Potato farmer told me something similar about Sweet Potatoes. He said that they will taste "turpentine-y" if they aren't allowed to sit and "sweeten up" for at least 3 weeks after being harvested.
