Re: Eating whole lemons, or lemon juice or lemon concentrate? What is the best advice

I blend a half or a whole lemon into my smoothies all the time.  I think it is healthier to eat the whole fruit rather than parts or some processed form of it.

The juice made from concentrate consists of fruit juice concentrate and water. Fruit juice concentrate is fruit juice from which water has been removed by a concentration method in order to make it easier for transport. The juice is then reconstituted at the plant by adding water according to strict norms.

When the juice is made not from concentrate, that means that the juice was conditioned right after the pressing, usually at proximity to the picking grounds.

Blueberries

3 apples
1/2 lemon
3-4 leaves of kale
water
ice (optional)

Ratio is 60% ripe organic fruit, mixed with about 40% organic green vegetables (preferrably dark green leafy vegetables–such as kale, collard greens, Romaine lettuce, spinach, parsley)
