My experience has been that the little ones die off easily and pretty quickly. It is the big ones that are hard to get rid of. The big ones remain alive, lay more eggs, and you have to keep going after the hatchlings.

The question for me has been can I tolerate a dose large enough to kill the big ones, without it being lethal to me?

Again, if I were gonna deworm my kid, I'd buy a formula that is designed for children.
