Re: Coincidence?
Many people feel animals are able to see auras
naturally and so that sensitivity could factor
in. Certainly, as someone who worked as a pet
therapist, I went through the process of the
extensive screening and pet health is a HUGE
consideration and all pets must be in perfect
health. This cat lives in the facility so would
not be exposed to other cats outside etc.
Cats AND dogs can be incredibly sensitive to
people who are ill or in pain. How many have been
ill and their pet has curled up beside them to
offer comfort??
Before they moved their healing center, my friends
regularly had seminars here and their Jack Russel
Terrier would zero in on the sickest people and
spend time on their laps. At night, he would often
sneak into the beds of the sickest people to also
provide comfort. If a healing session was being
held, that little dog would often insist on being
a part of it. Everyone jokes, over the years, he
has taken so many classes that he is probably the
best healer of all.
Dogs have been trained to *sniff* out cancer and
have been able to predict if people are going to
have strokes and such, so for me, it is not a big
leap of faith to see that cats also have a similar
gift.
The only sort of tongue-in-cheek thoughts I had about
this story was remembering in the movie "Alien",
the first one, every time the cat shows up then
the person would die. That was a movie though...in
real life, this cat is special and hopefully will
help people regard cats with the respect they do
deserve.
