Re: and, as evidenced in...
"Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Weston A. Price, it is important to note that NO people evolved on a vegetarian diet. and some(eskimos, Masai) ate MOSTLY animal protein, and thrived.
Vegetarian diets are usually adopted(historically) for spiritual reasons, such as Ghandi's adoption of a vegetarian diet(BTW, he drank milk). He wasn't always a vegetarian. Vegetarian, fruitarian, etc, support spiritual pursuits. Animal protein supports action.
I've tried being a veggie, a few times. The first time, as long as it wasn't meat, it was good. I got fat. The second time, vegan due to a tight budget. First bite of chicken I had? Nirvana. Every cell in my body said YESSSS!!!!!
I do best with mostly fruits & veggies, a small amount of meat and VERY little dairy(cept butter, I don't hold back there:).
I like lamb. :)
When I was a toddler, grandpa fed me head cheese. I remember sitting on his lap & loving that stuff. Couldn't get enough:) BTW, head cheese is the meat from a pig's head...
