Re: Ayesherayeh

My experience has been that reiki is relatively bi-polar in that it has provided more stabilization of my energy. I have at least internally always had an overbalance of feminine energy which has set me apart. While this is good for virtues like compassion and understanding wisdom and patience etc....it was still an overbalance. Reiki was not so much a male energy to provide counterbalance, I just believe it was a normalizing one or an adaptogenic one in that it balanced out shiva and shakti or male/female.

If a person suffers from a lack of male energy or has somewhere been deprived of feminine energies, I can see where they would feel it as such, it may take her a while to get to a point to feel at ease with this, she may be feels less feminine.

Also for me reiki was very spiritually motivating in that it seemed to open channels and give me confidence of what I knew was already there. Before reiki people have always commented on my touch, babies and children have always responded well and my hands told me that they needed an outlet such as reiki. Since reiki, channels have opened inside and I can feel the energies coming from the lower and higher centers and merging to create something different than male energy and something different than feminine.

I actually do not use traditional reiki much because much of it's expression comes through without the rigamarole and ritual. I have picked up on a technique in holographic healing where distant energy can be sent out just by thinking of someone or even better in a conciously planned dream. It is just as if the subject is in front of me, in fact I can often 'see' more than if they were.

Simply by being dilligent with meditation there are other subtle energies that come off that seem more dramatic or powerful than those of reiki. Clairvoyance added to the reiki is interesting as I stated because distance I can see more than if the subject is near me. I feel it is a matter of subject/objectivity though, I'm not even sure what I do anymore is reiki because I began to see very clearly the subject of treatment and it seems like I am there and some have reported I am there. I have some blocks which make it easier for me to deal with distance.

I do not know a lot of practicioners, I do not have the experience of shogun like male energy, I would never go for that. Rather for me it has provided some balancing energies. I do know of one very fiery pitta constitution female who has a lot of natural masculinity, she seems to be very agressive with reiki and as such it drains her, with me it adds to calmness.

If you are considering I suggest you go to an introductory course that is usually free, you will be able to discern the energy as the practicioner scans you. This is what I did before taking my hands on class as I had received reiki initially by distance initiation.

Aye.
