Pixie, I readReadREAD on holistics and talk to anybody that will hold still long enough before I start something new. Here's the general consensous that I have gathered. Flush the liver BEFORE juice fasting to get rid of congestion or pressure can build up.
In your shoes, I'd read the Hulda Clark protocol and as much of Andreas Moritz forum as I can and get a liver flush done ASAP.
While you're studying, try these:
warm PURE water with a fresh lemon squeezed in it, if you can make a healthfood store run, adding sorghum molasses or organic maple syrup makes it taste good (HEY maybe you've even got some syrup left)
warm water with apple cidar vinegar
water with a pinch or 2 of epsom salts
These will alleviate the pain in the liver gallbladder area. You can use each "recipe" or even combine them as you wish.
Milk thistle is for cleansing the liver cells themselves. With congestion, this can cause pain. You flush your liver until you have 3 stone-free flushes, then cleanse the liver cells ... I'm giving you this advice from experience. The first time I tried milk thistle, I thought I was going to have a nervous break-down. It did the healing that it was recommended for, but it was hell on earth for 16 days.
