Re: How do we know if people are really healing???
Personally I suggest you pat your 16 year old nephew on the head for having the wherewithal to think enough to ask some good fundamental questions, but at the same time, you may want to try instilling in them that proof is not all that it's cracked up to be.... and it's often like other things that may appear in the eye of a beholder; somewhere between questionable and a matter of personal taste. You also could ask your nephew to give some of their own real life examples from their 16 years in this world of how they've been able to apply the same principle of the questions they asked to prove something, anything, of significance, to themselves. 16 years old is probably old enough to have learned some good catch phrases and theories, like "proof", but probably not old enough to have a lot of practical experience in this world learning that proof is often elusive and sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to have.
Aside from that, you make it sound like it is a bad thing or in some way undesirable to potentially end up on black-lists said to be accumlating by our homeland security protectors, like FDA, government, etc. To each their own, but personally I try my best to improve the my own potential for getting on as many as these lists as practical.... just in case they may not be clear on where I stand :)
