This must be working: liver enzynmes from 172 to 17!

Two yrs ago I found out my gallbladder was only 14% effective from a HIDA scan that was performed although the gallbladder only showed "slush" in the ultrasound. I posted to this board and asked for advice.

I am quite the skeptic not only of the medical world but also the holistic one since some of the stuff seems like it would be so self-focused to do all this stuff and there are so many different ideas. However, for the last two yrs I have been "flushing". I started with the coca-cola sips to help get down the awful lemon juice and o.o. and later moved to red grapefruit juice.

I have done varying amts and have even vomitted a great portion of it up. At first I flushed a few times every two wks then I stopped having the pain under my ribs so I quit for a couple of months till it started hurting at bedtime again, or a greasy stool or feeling really full after not eating much. Then I was doing good to get it in every month or two.I always now only drink the amount until I am about to gag. I finished 14oz total, time before last and only 5oz this last time.

I changed my eating habits some. I stopped using margarine and no ice cream the first yr, initially I cut out fats then read I shouldn't do that totally and since I was feeling better, I added almonds and peanut butter in small amts. I lost weight that first yr, but I knew from doing Weigh Down that I was eating when I wasn't hungry and not stopping when I was satisfied, but I kept overeating until I gained most of that loss back.

I do good to remember to fast any beforehand, every flush has been effective. Never had 1000's but I know what I am passing are the things that clog things up. The first couple of times I felt gurgling in my g/b area at bedtime. Lately, I just have a nausea in the am until I have a bm. I had promised my husband that I would go to the dr again in 2 yrs (more because I had anemia 3 yrs ago and I always have a trace amt of blood in my urine that puzzles my urologist(?)...
well, my liver enzynmes were 164 and 172 2 yrs ago and I just got my lab work back today and they were down to 16 and 17!

Wow!

I am having some pain so I am doing a fast to seem if I need to heal my gallbladder that maybe was inflamed. I have not kept good track of how many I have done, and I don't usually do the Epsom Salt thing since we don't know what is going on with my kidneys.

However, my trace amt of blood went to moderate so they want to check in 6 mos. so I am going to try to remember to drink more purified water.

I want to write in some day and tell you I am pain free and that I am stone free. I believe that what I have passed in the flushes are chol. balls that were about to become "stones" they just hadn't hardened yet.

And that the other has been calcium (looks like spit out chewing gum(sorry)) and maybe some red stuff from parasite? Does not appear to be bloody. How can you explain my liver enzymes going down so much if this is not working?

Don't answer that I won't believe you anyway.

I prayed that if this worked I would give God the glory because I did not feel it was His will to have my gallbladder removed, but that I needed to learn how to use "food" (not abuse)or methods people used for yrs before surgeons.

The fact is my surgeon goes to our church and I think he is a wonderful man, and my b-i-l who retired from g/b surgeries to become a missionary in Africa was skeptical I'm sure about me doing this!

I am dancing and praising God today!
