I used the term "generally" as I am very much aware that they may not help digestion in all cases due to any number of reasons; various interactions of processes occurring in the gut.
I thought of playing with effective microorganisms at one time; came close but never did.
I eat and drink fermented foods almost daily, and get my share of BSM which, by the way is used to cultivate the effective microorganisms I was considering.

I know my protein metabolism has improved greatly... I am putting on muscle on and burning fat like crazy at 51 without changing my physical routines much...
