This sickens me. There is no ethical reason Bush has as an excuse to veto this ban. There are other safer preservatives pharmaceutical companies can use besides mercury laden thimerasol-- but they prefer to use thimerasol because it is a really cheap preservative in mass quantity vaccines.

Same thing with silver Amalgam fillings loaded with 50% mercury . They are cheaper than composite or porcelain fillings- for mass quantities of people.


Cheaper is not always better. In this case, it is dangerous.

Apparantly,-- (and does this surprise any of us?) our elected officials have no SINCERE regard for public health. Their only regard is for the corporations and lobbyists who $-pad-$ thier political party.
