Re: Help for flaky dry scalp?
Europe is quite a big place, I'm certain without even needing to refer to anywhere that not EVERY country in Europe has banned these ingredients, there are quite a few very poor countries especially in the South and East that either don't know or don't care about these things! Also, the bottle I read the names of those chemicals from was manufactured in Finland, part of Northern Europe. Not banned here either.
I might be too extreme with this whole health thing, but I really think any chemical filled subtance can never "truly treat the problem"! No chemical can possibly address the causes of dandruff etc. applied topically, not only are the chemicals in these products not the right thing to treat the cause to begin with, but anything that is harmful to consume internally can not possibly be beneficial topically!
But thanks for the oil info, Pamela, I'll definitely have to try that next time I pop into our sauna! Any idea how greasy the oils will leave my hair? My hair is oily already.
Also would anyone know whether the "all-mighty" baking soda would help with dandruff? I've read about it working for thrush and other similar conditions!
