Is anyone experiencing eye pain on Lugol's?

I have been having problems with intense eye pain on some days. I noticed today it started AFTER taking my morning dose of Lugol's. Nothing seems to be relieving it. Wearing my reading glasses doesn't help. On days that I don't take the Lugol's, I don't have the intense eye pain. I am wondering if the Lugol's is making changes in my eyes or what. I had surgery on my eyes many years ago. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? And no, I am not seeing any improvement in my vision either. All other side effects from Lugol's have been relatively short-lived and there have been tons of benefits. This one has me stumped. I am also wondering what to do about it. Any help is appreciated.
