so i had seborrheic on my face kind of bad for a while, it really concentrated on my cheeks, the sides of my nose, and the area between my eyebrows. it really sucked, the derm. first put me on elidel cream, that helped, and then it got worse again. then about 2 months ago he put me on hydrocortizone cream, and that made it completely go away in less than 4 days. it was great. but now its coming back, and i'm getting pissed off. the thing is that the cortizone cream works well, but i know that it's not good to use topical steriods for an extended period of time because of all sorts of bad side effects. my skin isn't bad right now, it's not exceptionaly dry, but there are clearly red patches of skin. especially on my left cheek. i have pretty fair skin, and you can clearly see a distinct line where my normal skin meets the infected skin. it's lame. anyway does anyone know a way to get rid of redness? it might be because the cortizone has thinned my skin a little in that area, which steriods are known to do
