karma and stuff.. maybe. you seem to be very certain about it. which i dont understand

this guy don croft once wrote me an email that most spirituality isnt practic and goal-oriented in focus and therefore a waste of time. he made a comparison saying the whole thing on karma is the same as preachers in the western world talking about hellfire and doom and so forth.

karma, something invented by the 'preachers' (astrologers/palmist readers/'seers') of the eastern oriented worlds (india and so fort) to keep the population in check?
