Hi:

Sometimes gall/ liver stones move out spontaineously and since the gall bladder and liver share the same common duct as the pancreas it is possible for a stone to go the wrong way. What would cause that I am not sure I am only guessing here, but if a smaller stone was followed by a larger one on the way out the larger stone could possibly push the smaller one into to pancreatic duct. For sure this is a very rare occurance.
