Mirena Problems??

Well, I had a Mirena put in August of 2006. I was loving it and everything seemed to be going well. My period stopped in March and at the end of May I started having migraines. I have had migraines randomly throughout my life, but it was always just stress related. I hadn't had one in at least three years. The headaches started on a monday and came everyday that week. Then I got this unexplainable pain that starts in the bridge of my nose, will move to the roof of my mouth, and in to my two front teeth. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and my family doc thought it was my sinuses. Well,on friday of that week I had a seizure. This prompted all kinds of testing. The only thing that came back abnormal was the eeg, which showed seizure activity. So, now I am on medication for that. They did a CTScan which showed nothing including clear sinuses! I am still having horrible migraines and this horrendous pain in my nose that no one can seem to tell me the cause of. So, two weeks ago I had the mirena removed. I am hoping and praying that this is the problem and that I will feel better soon, but so far I feel worse. The first week after I had it removed I had a migraine every day. The headaches are gone now, but the nose pain is back with a vengeance! No pain reliever helps either!

So, if anyone reading this has had similar problems, please repsond to this posting. I appreciate any feedback. I know that these kinds of problems are rare and to know that someone else has had the same problem really helps. It really helps to know that I'm not crazy, because the way my doctors are looking at me right now makes me think that I am!
