Re: Can I use coconut oil instead of sunblock?

Hi, there. Cococnut oil is frequently used to intensify the results of sun exposure, and does not any protection against UV rays. Unrefined shea butter adds a tiny bit of protection, but not enough to use with nothing else. When all's said and done, using an OTC sunscreen containing chemicals is far more beneficial than going without any sun protection. I hate to say that, as I make everything I use, but it's the truth. :)
