I've always understood vitamin C needed to be taken with a meal. And the selenium I bought says to take after a meal (meaning 1-1 1/2 hours after eating). So, are these meal timings wrong? I haven't started the Lugol's yet (it just arrived this afternoon, YAY!), but had started with vitamin C and selenium on Saturday, sticking with the bottles' instructions regarding meal times. Vitamin C with a meal, then about an hour later the selenium. Each day so far, I have noticed within 30 minutes to 45 minutes of taking the selenium a really cool thing ... 90% of my aches and pains are gone in that time span, and I can literally feel my whole body relaxing. For someone whose muscles almost never relax, this is was an awesome thing to feel.
