Dark skin looking for good laser treatment

Hello all,

I have been suffering with crazy, coarse chin hair for years (and lots of it)!
I finally want to do laser treatment, BUT, most lasers in the states are for fair-skinned people and can leave your dark skin void of it's pigment!
Since this is my face we are talking about, I want to make sure to find a laser that won't bleach the pigment of my skin!

I've heard of the "nd yag" laser...? Can anyone please help to recommend something for me? It's getting worse and I am ready to take care of it!
