Totally unimportant to some, I realize. But if this is true, the contents of the caps from J do not apply - not sweet at all. Perhaps something is added to the powder to induce better flavor. I find the caps (what's inside) completely flavorless - like you had said - chalky. Not bad at all. If the powder (not from caps) is somewhat sweet - even better.

Is your powder "sweet"?
