toddler eating habits

A great book that I just read recently is called "My Child Won't Eat, by Dr. Carlos Gonzales. Toddlers eating habits cause a lot of unecessary anxiety in parents.

You are living proof of what breastfeeding does for a mother: you are confident in your ability to meet your child's nutritional needs through breastfeeding and confident enough to listen to yourself when you see your happy, growing, active, intelligent child and know that aht YOU are doing is best. When you breastfeed a toddler you can relax knowing that while they are more interested in making other discoveries than eating at this time, they are still getting plenty of good nutriton in your breastmilk.

I am such a firm believer that the physical act of breastfeeding actually develops a mother's mothering ability. If you can go through the physcial motions of it, the other benefits will come. Why would anyone not want to have the benefit of oxytocin in their mothering? It is the mothering hormone afterall!

Kudos to you.
