Re: --Alkaline skin mantle-- --

Hi Moreless,
I have a 2 year old with eczema, and the alkalizing drink and alkalizing diet is helping tremendously. I recently read that sunshine is alkalizing and have been taking him out for at least 30 minutes each day, but your post mentioned otherwise (or that it depends on the pH of the skin.) His skin is extremely acidic. I found this out because he would scream every time I apply H2O2 to help with his itch, while it does nothing to my skin. I have used this method for a week and his skin is getting a little dry. I read your post for AnnaG regarding dry skin and am wondering whether I should change my method of helping his itch and how. We also started the foot and body baths. So 3 questions:
1. Should I continue the half hour sunshine routine, considering that his skin is acidic?
2. What solution should I use for his itch? (Tried 1:1 and 5:1 water and AVC solution, didn't help.)
3. You mentioned elsewhere that nuts and seeds are difficult to digest (especially for children.) Is almond drink and nut butter any different?
