These kind of stories are why we visit CureZone

Thank you for showing us, Hanna!

And Trapper, that's been one of my fondest wishes, too. Sometimes I'm able to find more posts they have made.

I even reply to posts that are months/years old, if there is any chance of rekindling the interest of the original poster.

Someone here once said that people leave the CureZone, when they are well again. (I know that I often have a hard time remembering last week's pain, when it's gone!)

Wouldn't it be nice to have a Success! forum, where we go to report our stories (big and small) that have been happily resolved?

Maybe it could be a 'graduation' prize. We could write success stories in a kind of Holding forum, and wait until the moderators decide that it tells a story to be recognized. That way CureZone readers could see the stories in both forums; and maybe even vote on the ones in the Holding forum.

A few years ago I was chatting with a woman in England who was trying to find out what it was that she loved when she was five years old. (We knew that a person always knows, without doubt, their purpose in life, when they are five.)

She was remembering that she'd take her little brother by the hand, and go into the meadow at the bottom of their garden. Her brother would be off to play, and my friend would go and sit in the shade of a big old tree, and contemplate a brook that ran there.

I scratched my head and wondered what it was about that brook that fascinated her, day after day.

Was it the fish? Did she want to build a bridge over the brook? Maybe it was the sands and gravels that she enjoyed. Or, the prospect of drifting away to faraway places.

I asked her a question - "What does the word 'naturalist' mean to you?"

She rapidly fired back - "Oh my Gawd! It was the tree!"

In fact, one of her favorite things to do, as an adult, was to transform raggedy land into small parks in communities. They planted trees, too.

There is something interesting about touching a heart's dream - one's voice goes soft. They are in awe. The same thing happens to their companions, watching. Awe is contageous.

Is that what happened to you, Hanna?

Maybe that's the reward of posting on CureZone.
