It's me again :)

HI Doctor, I'm seeking osme help for a friend. What we think is a gland on the side of her throat is swollen to about the size of a small fist. It's not hard but feels kind of squishy similar to a hard boiled egg. She's been very tired, and said she also feels feverish.

It started at basketball game when she was cheering...said she felt something kind of pop in her throat then it became sore to the point where she couldnt even swallow. Docs said maybe it was drainage from her sinuses....she's also waiting on mri results.

Any thoughts on this????
