CBS News to covers FDA's "fresh start" on mercury fillings
CBS Evening News has a story about the breakthrough at FDA -- on Saturday, June 30 (tomorrow/today). The CBS story focuses on our all-star Congresswoman, Diane Watson of
California . Its news angle is FDA’s written promise to me on June 14 of a fresh start -- which I then “tipped off” to CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson. Check your listing for local time of the CBS evening news.
The story is set to air, but no news segment is ever certain -- breaking news could pre-empt it, as could (on weekends) a sporting event.
As a news story by a top reporter, the content will be balanced. But consider this: the airing of the issue is what is critical:
- The
ADA ’s great fear is patients learning the mercury secret.
- The FDA’s great fear is to operate in the sunlight instead of the dark of night.
Thus, exposure on national television is the best spur possible (1) for patients to say no to the pro-mercury dentists, and (2) for FDA to stop applying nineteenth-century science.
