Root canal gone bad

The dentist told me that I would have to have an old root canal out and replacing it,I stood a small chance of it being succesfull,as I now have an abscess on the root canal.
Although I get rid of this abscess temporally by gurgling with Colloidal Silver water,I gather that because no blood flows in that area and it is sealed off,my sessions with blood electrification,does/can not effect that area.
I really,really dont want to have this tooth pulled,apart from the thought of it,getting another one that will also get infected,is a complete waste of time ...besides,Im no masochist!
So I have purchased a magnetic pulser and feel quite convinced,that pulsing my root canal will clear it up perfectly.
Would anyone care to comment?
