When did it become protocol to deny the consumer of this information?

Due to the current 'China Syndrome' with regards to sub-level quality issues & contaminated inventory, I talked via telephone with the Jarrow company re their sourcing of their IP-6 product.

They REFUSED to divulge their source!

When I asked them if it came from China (which if it wasn't, they could easily have stated without continuing to divulge their precious little secret), they STILL refused to divulge the source, which leads me to believe that they source the rice bran extract - not from Japan - but from China. :(
